This Privacy Policy describes how GrowthForge collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application and website (the "Services"). This policy complies with Google Play Developer Program Policies and international privacy regulations.

We only collect information directly necessary to provide you with habit tracking, skill leveling, and task management capabilities:

• Account Credentials: Username, optional email address, and cryptographically hashed passwords. We never store plain-text passwords.
• User-Generated Content: Daily tasks, weekly milestones, skill categories, logged exercise/study metrics, personal notes, and optional avatar images.
• Device & Usage Data: Basic technical device information (such as operating system version) strictly for error debugging and network connection stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to:

• Operate, calculate, and display your personalized progress rings, streaks, and XP points.
• Provide cloud synchronization between your mobile app and web client.
• Maintain application stability, prevent spam, and enforce rate limits.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party data brokers or advertising networks.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security safeguards. Passwords are protected using secure one-way salted hashes. All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).

5. User Rights & Account Deletion Policy

In full compliance with Google Play User Data policies, every user maintains complete sovereignty over their data:

• In-App Deletion: You may navigate to Profile & Settings within the app and select "Request Account & Data Deletion".
• Web-Based Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated records at any time through our dedicated web portal at: https://growthforge.app/account/delete.
• Permanent Removal: Once requested, all user data, including tasks, notes, logs, and avatars, is immediately and permanently purged from active databases.

6. Children's Privacy

GrowthForge is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
